In the last two houses we’ve built, we have used brass and silver sconces in the bathrooms to give a clean, modern look to our bathrooms and I love it so much that I wanted to share this modern home decor idea with you guys today. Lighting is one of my all-time favorite things to choose when we are building a house and it can also be extremely frustrating if you don’t know where to look. Having built and moved as many times as we have, I know all the great places to look for lighting. So, I’m sharing those sources with you today. If you are looking to redo an already existing bathroom and give it a more modern look, sconces in the mirrors like we have done in all of our bathrooms is a great way to do that; or if you are planning to build, you might want to show your builder this look because it is something you have to plan ahead for in order to get the electrical in the right place when you are in the building stages.
