HOW TO DECORATE BOYS ROOMS ON A BUDGET

I have been designing so many boys’ bedrooms lately, both in my own home for my boy’s bedroom refreshes and for clients, which is why I thought it would be a good opportunity to do a post on HOW TO DECORATE BOYS’ BEDROOMS ON A BUDGET!

From beds, to nightstands, to kid’s storage solutions, to art and decor, I have been using tons of affordable Walmart Kids options in my designs lately so I wanted to share my favorites with you so that you can take advantage of these incredible and affordable options in your own home decorating as well!

I’m going to be sharing three design boards that I just completed for clients recently and show you the Walmart Kids’ Decor I’m using in my current designs. There are so many amazing options to help you DECORATE BOYS’ BEDROOMS ON A BUDGET!

This bedroom design is for our upcoming Beaver Lake Project that we have not yet revealed. You wills see in the photo above that we used this wire BOYS ONLY sign in our design underneath the Vintage Land Rover picture. We absolutely love it and it is perfect for boys rooms! We used Jenny Lind beds in this design but if you are looking to create this look for less we highly recommend the Weston Home Nottingham Bed from Walmart (see below). Finally, Walmart has incredible wood night stands options to create this look as well. We recently bought this Oak and Black night stand available for only $139 at Walmart. I bought this for Cohen’s room and you guys, I was blown away by the quality and affordability. I can’t wait to reveal his room and show them to you but trust me, if you’re look for a wood night stand, you’re going to want to give these a try. I love how they pair with the black Weston Home Nottingham Bed as well!

You can’t go wrong in your kid’s bedrooms OR guest bedroom refresh if you use the Weston Nottingham bed. Such an incredible bed for such a great price point!

How to Decorate Boys Rooms on a Budget oak and black affordable wood night stand

Next up, I’m going to share another boy’s bedroom design that I just finished for a client. I used Walmart kids’ storage items and wall decor in this design. There are so many wonderful art and decor options and storage items available at Walmart for such an affordable price and I’m going to share some of my favorites with you!

For this design, I used two of the Better Homes and Gardens Penn Storage bookcase in navy. I absolutely love this little bookcase and think it’s perfect for boy’s rooms, especially paired with the Hiyagon storage baskets. I love these little baskets and they come in over 13 different adorable prints! You will also notice that I have some wire magazine wracks from Walmart hanging on the wall above the Penn bookcase. I can’t wait to see this room finishes and show you guys the pictures of how this all pairs together!

Below, is yet another room design I did for a client. I am absolutely loving the Walmart kids’ Sauder storage units and the Be Strong, Be Bold, Be Brave prints. I’m purchasing these for Cohen’s bedroom and plan to use them in his bedroom above his bed. They are cute, little 8×10 prints that you can frame in Better Homes and Garden frames. For under $20, you get a framed print that packs a punch in any nursery, kid’s room, or teen bedroom!
