It’s that time of year…..January. The time when I frantically go back and try to get caught up on all my blog posts from the previous year so that I can make my blog to book. So this post is taking us all the way back to October when we took a total last minute trip to Silver Dollar City over Fall Break. The kids had never been and we wanted to get outta town so we just packed up and went for it. The weather was awesome. The scenery was gorgeous. And Silver Dollar City was an absolute blast. We will definitely be making this a Fall Break tradition I do believe! (PS…all pictures brought to you via instagram, which I am totally obsessed with for family vacays that aren’t really practical to carry around the professional camera….)
Easton was the only kid tall enough to ride the “Wildfire” ride. It was a pretty intense ride with 3 upside down loops. He loved it!!!Victory!!!!Coco on the other hand….well, he was PISSED that he wasn’t tall enough to ride and screamed the entire time daddy and Easton were gone. It was fun times. People were staring. Let’s be honest….I’m use to it at this point.Finally….he only stopped crying once daddy got back.Love those babies. The Miller’s Do Silver Dollar City! Something about this picture I just love!Yes. this unfortunate ensemble happened. This is what happens when your son talks you into the lazy river ride and you get ABSOLUTELY SOAKED and you have to buy some sweet neon green sweat pants at the gift shop and wear them all day. And yes, we ran into at least 5 or 6 families that we knew from Tulsa while I was wearing this. Freaking Sweet. This is Coco after he rode the Powder Keg which is a totally intense ride that he wasn’t quite tall enough for but he was so fearless the worker let him pass. He seriously has no fear. I love it. It was a crazy 24 hours because we drove back home that night and the kids and I got up and drove to Edmond to watch my niece, Britton, cheer at her high school football game. Just had to share this picture too. She is all grown up and absolutely gorgeous inside and out. I am so proud of her!!!
